Mourning Jewelry, postmortem Photography and Funeral Customs of Denver’s Sporting Girls!

What’s not to like?  I’ll be heading up the Mourning Jewelry Component – hope you can come!

Graveyards Cemetery Colorado History

The date and time are 4:00 – 6:00 October 14th – Lighthouse Writers House on Colfax and Race.

I will be speaking about symbolism, how grave monuments motifs share the same symbolism in true morning jewelry and will be bringing examples.

Also, The BEATEN TERRITORY will be available for purchase, which ties in nicely with the conversation about Denver’s Sporting Girls discussion.

I am, of course, thrilled to have the chance to support this wonderful group. Atlas Obscura is a great resource to enjoy the off-beat aspects of life and Colorado History!
